Our rapidly growing convenience retail company is actively seeking full & part-time Sales Associates in Santa Barbara. We are looking for that special someone who has great customer service skills, and wants to make a difference, one smile at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and tend to customers in a prompt, efficient, friendly manner

  • Sweep, mop, and clean, as necessary, and to meet company standards

  • Maintain a clean, clutter-free store at all times

  • Follow proper guidelines for food preparation, cash handling, timekeeping, sanitation and all other procedures

  • Enforce and practice Loss Prevention policies

  • Prepare all food and grab-and-go items to company standards

  • Ensure items are in stock, fresh, and meet quality standards

  • Comply with all corporate sanitation guidelines at all times

  • Keep up-to-date on new policies and procedures

  • Attend all mandatory/scheduled store meetings

  • Communicate any questions, concerns, or issues to the Store Manager

  • Keep store products in stock and set to planogram

  • Ensure all equipment is operational

  • Properly operates the cash register and lottery machine

  • Completes all required shift reports and achieves shift objectives

  • Comply with fuel operating policies and local/federal regulations (where applicable)

  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • Minimum 21 years of age

  • Friendly

  • Willing to Smile – A lot

  • A Great Attitude

  • Ability to get to work on time

  • Able to deliver the highest level of Customer Service

  • Cashier knowledge

  • Food & beverage service knowledge

  • Stand - Continuously

  • Bend/Squat/Twist – Frequently

  • Reaching – Frequently

  • Work in cold environment – Occasionally

  • Lifting

  • Up to 10lbs – Continuously

  • Up to 25lbs – Frequently

  • Push/pull 40lbs – Occasionally
